Media Literacy Matters, the EU Digital and Media Literacy Conference Week

Brussels, Belgium, 26 February – 01 March 2024

An inspiring and thought-provoking event organised within the framework of the Belgian Presidency of the EU Council in the first 6 months of 2024 by Mediawijs, the Flemish Department of Culture, Youth, and Media, CSEM, Media and Learning Association, Porticus Foundation, and UAntwerpen – Treatpie and in cooperation with EDMOeu.

A three-day conference on digital and media literacy in practice will take place from 26 February to 1 March 2024 as part of this week to showcase and exchange information about various digital and media literacy initiatives, tools, projects and practices. We aim to bring together professionals, educators, policymakers, and individuals passionate about digital and media literacy. Delve into a wide array of topics and themes that touch upon the dynamic relationship between digital media and society. Engaging keynotes, expert-led workshops, interactive panels, and networking sessions will enrich your understanding of digital and media literacy, media consumption, and ethical considerations in the ever-changing digital era.

Registration closes on January 8, 2024. To learn more about this conference, visit: https://www.mediawijs.be/en/medialiteracymatters.
