For the upcoming third edition, Voices is about to return to Florence at Teatro del Maggio Musicale on 10–12 March 2026.

The second edition of the festival took place in Zagreb on 27 February – 1 March 2025. Over the course of three days, the festival explored crucial themes shaping our relationship with information and media nowadays through talks, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Before Croatia, Voices kicked off in Florence back in March 2024. Over 1300 participants attended sessions tackling artificial intelligence and journalism, disinformation, safety of journalists, the challenges within media economic models, media literacy, elections’ integrity, EU legislation on media, digital parenting, and digital well-being, among others.

The festival is an itinerant initiative that moves across different European cities to engage with different communities, while emphasising media freedom and media literacy as essential elements for the functioning of our societies.

Paula Gori, EDMO Secretary General, will be at the Speaker’s Corner of Voices festival. Her session is titled Disinformation, democracy, and the role of independent media.
