The European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) is pleased to offer this online training module on “The InVID-WeVerify verification toolbox”, organised in collaboration with the Observatoire de l’Information et des médias (DE FACTO), the Ireland Hub and the vera.ai project.
During the training, participants will learn how to master the use of the InVID-WeVerify verification toolbox, including the advanced tools reserved for fact-checkers, journalists and researchers fighting disinformation. Recent examples of disinformation debunked with the plugin will be discussed and participants will be able to ask questions about the features and the plugin development roadmap. New tools will be presented, including exporting visual proofs of forgery both in GIF and MP4 (video) formats which can be integrated into fact-checks or spread on social networks.
