Welcome to the EDMO Training Programme
EDMO offers a comprehensive programme of regular online training modules designed to equip a wide range of stakeholders with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to understand, identify and effectively tackle online disinformation. The programme brings together leading experts and practitioners from across Europe, and beyond, to provide multidisciplinary perspectives on the evolving information ecosystem.
EDMO’s training modules are accessible free of charge and focus on a variety pressing topics, including media-literacy, fact-checking and OSINT, disinformation analysis and monitoring, access to platforms’ data, AI-related information risks, as well as thematic areas such as climate, health, and identity-based disinformation.
The programme is developed responding to evolving training needs, and societal vulnerabilities as well as emerging disinformation trends, patterns, actors, methods, and narratives.
What participants say
This session made me realise that some challenges are so global that they require serious collaborative efforts between academia, fact-checkers, digital media and platforms, parliamentary committees, regulatory authorities and policymakers, together with targeted funding from sector participants. EDMO’s work is highly appreciated for its evidence-based approach, and the presentations were factual, informative and on point.
I feel privileged to have experienced this kind of high-quality session and am looking forward to the next ones.
The interactive discussions were great to gain an understanding of problems and solutions around the world.
The materials and insights shared were very useful, as well as the possibility of getting to know organisations and associations I might not have known before. Time was allocated and managed very well, and the pace was good and easy to follow.
