European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) launched
EDMO is Europe’s first multi-disciplinary response to the increasing threat of online disinformation.
On 1 June 2020, the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) has started its activities. The European Union funded project brings together fact-checkers, media literacy experts and academic researchers to understand and analyse disinformation, in collaboration with media organisations, online platforms and media literacy practitioners.
